Historical Preservation

Northern Windows & Doors specializes in historical preservation. We work with development companies that focus on the beautification process of historic real estate & other properties. 

The definition of Historical Preservation is as follows: Historic preservation, heritage preservation or heritage conservation, is an endeavor that seeks to preserve, conserve and protect buildings, objects, landscapes, or other artifacts of historical significance

And we do just that at Northern Windows & Doors. 

All windows used in each project are Quacker Historical Windows.

Wellington Square

This was previously Al Capone's hangout during his travels from Chicago to Detroit.

Wellington Square is now a 12 story senior living apartment with 1200 windows

Detroit, MI

Lafaure Building at Palmer Park

These apartments are located in Palmer Park in Detroit. This involved 10,006 buildings with a total of 330-340 windows. 

Palmer Park

This project involved the installation of 425 Quacker windows. The project took 2 years. 

Tushiyah United Hebrew Schools

The Tushiyah United Hebrew School is now an apartment building. Our team installed 1200 windows to a three story during one of Michigan's coldest months in -15 degree weather.

The Beach Club

The Beach Club has 1100 windows. This process is a service project where we install windows sections at a time. 

The Lodge at Palmer Park

1,000 windows were installed during a span of 5 months. This was part of the Palmer Park Project which was a 2 year-long project.

La Vogue

La Vogue is a four-story apartment complex with 450 windows. The installation took 5 weeks.

The Bay City Courthouse

1,000 windows were installed during a span of 5 months. This was part of the Palmer Park Project which was a 2 year-long project.

Pacific Heights

Pacific Heights is a historic building that is now luxury apartments on the hilly roads of San Francisco!
